Why verification is required
- Age: to confirm you are old enough to use the service.
- Identity and fraud: to make sure the account belongs to you and to stop stolen accounts or cards being used.
- Legal duties: anti-money-laundering rules require operators to know who they are paying.
- Player protection: to enforce one account per person and to make self-exclusion work.
Documents you may be asked for
| Purpose | Typical examples |
|---|---|
| Proof of identity and age | Passport, driving licence or other government photo ID |
| Proof of address | Recent utility bill or bank statement showing your name and address |
| Proof of payment method | A photo of the card with middle digits hidden, or a bank statement line |
[List the exact documents and any time limits your platform accepts.]
How to avoid delays
- Make sure your name, date of birth and address match your account exactly.
- Use clear, well-lit photos or scans that show all four corners of the document.
- Send documents that are valid and not expired.
- Check that proof of address is recent. Many platforms accept documents from the last three months.
- Hide card digits the platform does not need, and ask what it requires before you send anything.
How long it takes
[State your real timing, for example "most checks finish within X hours, and sometimes up to X working days".] Delays are usually caused by blurry images, mismatched names or missing pages.
Keeping your documents safe
- Upload documents only through the official site or app, or to the official support email.
- Never send documents over social media, chat apps or to anyone who contacts you first claiming to be support.
- If you share a national ID number, ask whether a masked copy is accepted.
- Read the Privacy Policy to see how your data is stored and for how long.
Staff will never ask for your password or full card number. If someone does, do not share it and report it to support.
